Fixed Hydraulic Buffer Stops are installed directly into a concrete base or mounted within a fabricated frame fixed to the rail. Capable of absorbing impacts of up to 15 km/h, they utilise Oleo’s hydraulic energy absorption system with full recoil after impact, eliminating the need for resetting and minimising maintenance.

Their compact design enables significantly reduced installation lengths compared to friction buffer stops, making them an ideal space-saving solution for end-of-mainline stations where track space is at a premium.
